Nietzsche's Paris and other works, Photography
27.01. – 13.04.2008
Victor Burgin is a pioneer of conceptual art, which is often characterized as a combination of photography and text. In the 1970s, he became one of the leading artists in a second heyday of conceptual photographic art. The oil crisis had widened the economic gap between the UK and the US, and many artists began to address economic injustice and discrimination based on gender or ethnicity in their work.
