Gruppenausstellung
Underground – Sonderausstellung im Rahmen der Langen Nacht der Kultur
04.06.2011

After short tours of the Kunstverein’s collection were offered with great success during the “Long Night of Culture” in 2010, the Kunstverein wants to conquer new spaces with contemporary art this year. In the underground car park beneath the museum, students from the Bremen University of the Arts (HFK) are showing video works, objects and spatial installations. Franziska Ahorn, Andreas Bernhardt, Conor Gilligan, Peggy Kahl, Emese Kazár, Silvia Keppler, Samya Boutros Mikhail, Julian Öffler, Tim Reinecke, André Sassenroth, Z. Schmidt and Philipp Schneider are represented with works.
Regular operations in the underground car park continue; the special conditions of the exhibition situation mean that unusual relationships between art and public space are being tested. In order to give the experimental project the attention it needs, the Kunstmuseum will be closed between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. From 11 p.m. you have the opportunity to visit the Kunstverein’s collection in the Kunstmuseum for one hour.
