Achim Hoops (born 1953 in Tornesch) lives and works in Hamburg. He has been teaching at the Academy of Fine Arts in Hamburg since 1986. The Kunstverein is presenting 35 works from the period between 1998 and 2001, executed in his characteristic chalk and acrylic technique on cotton.
